About the Urine Collection Cup

Yes, the urine collection cup is specifically designed with enough internal space for all users. The male urine collection cup has a width of 6cm and a depth of 12cm. The female urine collection cup has a width of 6cm and a depth of 11cm. We have conducted tests to show that this is enough space for the perfect amount of airflow.

No, the urine collection cup is made with a soft flexible material to ensure it is comfortable and can return to its normal shape even when put under stress. It is made to be comfortable, even for the skin of elderly users.

No, the female urine collection cup comes with buttons to fix it to the cotton underwear to ensure it remains fixed in place, even when the user moves around. And the male urine collection cup is perfectly gotten stucked so that it will not easy to come off.

Yes, the urine collection cup is made with medical-grade silicone, the same type used in the manufacturing of baby pacifiers. This is even safe for people who are allergic to silicone. It is designed to be easy to clean and disinfect, so hygiene and safety should not be an issue.

About the Underwear

For better hygiene, we recommend that the underwear be changed and cleaned everyday. We offer two more pairs of underwear free of charge to help the convenient change. Plus, the underwear is easy to air dry. After cleaning, the caregiver or families may dry the underwear by dryer if it is urgent to be used.

Our underwear is designed to fit a wide range of body types. The waistbelt design ensures that the underwear can be tightened or loosened according to the specific user. The waistbelt measures 140cm long but can be stretched even further to about 200cm without distress.

About the Drainage Tube

The drainage tube does need to be cleaned to get rid of any leftover urine residue. If it is not cleaned, this leftover urine could erode the internal wires.

Our wires are designed to be strong and stretch-resistant, using premium materials to provide a more durable product.

About Using the Urination Device

The suction usually works better if the user is on their back or side. We do not recommend the user lay on their front/stomach as it may impact comfort and quality of suction.

Our device is designed to be as quiet as possible through the night. The device only starts pumping once it detects urine, so at all other times it should be dormant and silent.

No, this device should not be used by those suffering from urinary retention. This non-invasive device is designed to collect external urine and does not use an internal catheter.

This device is designed to help manage urine, not fecal matter. However, the underwear is fitted with an open back to make fecal incontinence management easier in combination with the urination device.

The urine collection cup contains the urine as soon as it is excreted. Within 0.5 seconds of the urine touching the probe sensor at the bottom of the cup, the device will start the suction process and pump the urine down the drainage tube and into the collection bottle. The device keeps sucking for six seconds to ensure every drop has been disposed of.

Yes, the urination device can be used by diabetes sufferers. However, there are two key things to remember. Diabetics’ urine may erode the sensor at a faster pace, so the residue on the surface of metal urine sensor probe should be wiped away frequently. And the drainage tube should also be cleaned more frequently so as to better protect inner wire inside.

We designed our urine collection bottle specifically to hold more than the normal 24-hour urine output of the average human being. The device also sucks at 20ml/min to match the normal human output rate.

The male urination device is suitable for use while sitting down. The female urination device should not be used while sitting down because it may press against the collection cup and negatively impact the quality of suction.

This depends on a user-by-user basis. If the people in question are not prone to pull at their underwear, then it is worth trying the device with them. However, if they are likely to tug at the underwear because they do not understand what the device is there for, it will significantly impact the efficiency.

About Using and Cleaning

Please rest assured, we simplify the process to set up the device. After receiving the device, the user just needs to learn how to put on the underwear and insert the metal sensor probe. And detailed instructions please check on the “How to Use” page.

Please follow our ‘How to Clean’ page to find out more – all you need is room-temperature water to clean the urination device.
