How to Set up

The urination device is designed to be easy enough to operate and clean for elderly users. Thanks to our thorough research and development process, we have found a way to develop an effective and efficient product without the hassle of complicated set-up and maintenance. All the user has to do is connect one end of the drainage tube with the urine collection bottle lid and connect the other end with the metal sensor probe to the grooves of the urine collection cup. Detailed steps are as follows.

Warm Tips

  • The user should ideally clean themselves before putting the underwear on.

  • Remember to charge the device before first use. We ship all our devices full of charge but there is a chance that some battery levels will naturally drop during the delivery process.

Detailed Steps

  1. Open the box, remove the device, wash and dry the underwear.
  2. Wash and dry the urine collection cup with room-temperature water.

  3. The urine collection cup should go through the hole in the front of the underwear before putting on the underwear. The front side of the urine collection cup is the side with a clear groove for the metal sensor probe. The groove should point down. For male urine collection cup, make sure the spill-proof edge is folded inwards firstly. For female urine collection cup, Let the urine collection cup get through the hole of underwear and then press four buckles on the four angles of the urine collection cup.

  4. Put on the underwear, confirm the front side is the side with buckles on. Firstly adjust the right position of the urine collection cup between the two legs.

  5. Once the urine collection cup is in right position, tie the waistbelt through the row of five buckles. All holes on the waistbelt are able to be tied on the first row of five buckles as per the user’s waist circumstance. Two straps at the bottom of the underwear should go between the legs and hips, then respectively attach to the two buttons in the second row at the front of the underwear. The over-long strap can be tied continually to the first row of buckles.

  6. After putting the underwear on, Insert the metal sensor probe into the groove at the bottom of the urine collection cup. It should be nice and tight to avoid leaking.
  7. Press and hold ON/OFF for 2-3 seconds to turn the device on.
  8. When the sensor probe detects liquid, the pump will start sucking urine away after just 0.5 seconds. The device continues pumping for six seconds to ensure nothing is left in the tube even if there is no urine collected in the urine collection cup.

Note: There is no underwear needed to be worn on, just place the handheld urine collection cup in the right position and urinate as your convenience. And other steps are the same as the female and male urination device.

Where the Urine Collection Bottle Should be Put

We placed the urine collection bottle at three different heights to test the effect of the position of the urine collection bottle on the suction rate of the device. The measurement results are shown in the figure above. Finally, We found that the suction rate is at its highest when the urine collection bottle is located below the height of the bed, so gravity can help with the drainage process. To reduce the risk of leaking, we recommend keeping the collection bottle on the floor next to the bed.

Warm Tips

Please read and remember the following guidelines:

    • Stop using the urination device immediately if you have an allergic reaction
    • Charge the device before first use in case of any battery loss during shipping
    • Make sure the lid of the collection bottle is tightly closed to avoid leaking
    • Keep the urine collection bottle in a secure place where it will not be knocked over
    • Do not use the device while charging
    • Charge the device as soon as it drops below 10% battery
    • Please wash the underwear and urine collection cup before wearing them for the first time
